Gallery Talk and Tour, still/emerging: Native American Works on Paper (Members Only) 6 p.m.

Join curators Britany Salsbury and Nadiah Rivera Fella for an exploration of still/emerging: Native American Works on Paper, the CMA’s first exhibition to highlight its growing collection of prints and drawings by Native American artists. The objects on view, created from the 1950s to today, survey the innovative ways in which Native artists have used a wide range of techniques to explore their cultural heritage. Featured works include a series of woodcut portraits by T. C. Cannon, a set of lithographs by Jaune Quick-to-See Smith, and a range of multimedia pieces by artists such as Wendy Red Star and Rose B. Simpson.
