Acquisitions Librarian Matthew Gengler shares the history of the Ingalls Library through its collection. Print Club members will view rarely seen highlights including the most splendidly decorated book of the 17th century, Pompa Introitus Ferdinandi; George Stubbs’s masterpiece of equine illustration The Anatomy of the Horse; and the pinnacle of William Morris’s Kelmscott Press The Complete Works of Chaucer. Examples will span the history of books and printing, from incunabula to modern small press artist editions.
